While I will explain much of this when we first meet in session, you may find it useful to review this information and to be ready with any questions so that I can provide any insight, clarification or assurance.
Confidentiality & Privacy
Everything you say to me when in session will be treated as confidential, unless a specific set of circumstances arises. These are primarily about the safety of you and others, and to comply with legal requirement. Our confidentiality agreement spells these out and I will talk them through with you and answer any questions.
I use an electronic service to manage and maintain records, billing, communications, and appointments (Cliniko.com). Inntinn does not collect personal information while you visit this website (see Cookie notice).
A note on email - please consider carefully which email you use to contact us, shared or work email may not be appropriate.
Video Sessions
The service may be provided by video session, and so I subscribe to an Australian video session service which provides secure connections between us, wherever we are in Australia. When in a video session I work in location where I cannot be overheard or unduly interrupted, you should find a similar place when connecting to a session.
Client Agreement
I use a simple agreement to ensure that you know what to expect and how your information is treated. We will talk through it in our first session and ensure that you are comfortable with it. I'll send you a copy prior to your first session appointment
