I am a qualified counsellor (please see below).
While most of us readily recognise when something is not right with the balance of our lives it can be difficult to articulate what we want to change and achieve. Having someone to provide support, encouragement, and occasional guidance can make a difference. So while I do not offer specific advise I will help you in determining your goals and how you want to work on achieving those.
Recognising that everyone has busy lives and lots of demands on time I offer session by way of video sessions, at times we agree. By using a commercial video service I can provide sessions to fit better with time and location, without compromising privacy.
In-person sessions are available in Brisbane.
I use a secure booking service to manage bookings and changes, when we agree an appointment time confirmation of bookings will be sent to you by email. The number of session needed for you to get what you need from our work will vary, and so we will regularly review the need for sessions.
The initial phone conversation is complimentary and typically lasts for 15mins. We'll talk about the cost of further sessions at that stage if you wish to proceed.
If when we talk initially I believe that you would not benefit from our service I'll endeavour to suggest other service providers who may be better suited. If we do work together then we'll review progress regularly and if it is not working for you, or I feel that someone else could provide you with more appropriate support, we will discuss that.
If you are located anywhere in Australia we can meet by secure video-session, and we can meet in-person in Brisbane.
I hold a Diploma In Counselling, with further study in Grief and Loss, and I hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Management.
I am a member of the Australian Counselling Association. ( www.theaca.com.au )
